Our Collaboration

SUNRISE UNIVERSITY is also recognized under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and also approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and is also duly empowered to impart education in all courses.

To facilitate obtaining of Registration Certificate in Nursing and Pharmacy courses like B.sc Nursing, GNM, D.Pharm, B.Pharm from INC/WBNC & PCI/WBPC offices respectively at Kolkata within the state of West Bengal, Bagdogra Paramedical Institute has made tie-up arrangements with various Nursing & Pharmacy Colleges of the State.

In view of the collaboration agreement executed with Singhania University in 2017, our institute as an authorised study centre, admission centre and examination centre of the University conducts the following courses:

• Four years degree courses in Nursing and Physiotherapy.
• Three years degree courses in Med. Lab. Tech., OT Tech, Optometry, X- Ray, Dialysis, Anaesthesia, Radiology and GNM.
• Two years diploma courses in all Paramedical subjects including Pharmacy, Med. Lab. Tech, OT Tech., radiology, Physiotherapy etc.
• One year diploma courses in almost all Paramedical subjects.

Now from June 2020, the current academic year we have entered into a Medical Collaboration Agreement with Singhania University in accordance to the newly formed “The National Medical Commission Act, 2019” by Govt. of India, effective from 8th August 2019.

In view of our excellent track record with the University, we have been asked by Singhania University to take up the following additional courses from the current academic year 2020:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).

Singhania University also allowed us to take the following subjects for MBBS passed out students.

• MD in General Medicine.
• MD in Pathology.
• MD in obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• MD in Dermatology.
